![]() ![]() There are lots to read with interesting details on film making, the intricacies of coming up with the script, production design, visual effects, animation, music, influences and other forms of aesthetics when it comes to directing the film. There are other essays by writers critiquing the film. There are several lengthy Q&A interviews included, three with Wes Anderson during different stages of post production, the others with Ralph Fiennes, costume designer Milena Canonero, score composer Alexandre Desplat, production designer Adam Stockhausen, cinematographer Robert Yeoman. The book was more detailed than I expected in terms of writeup. Instead of featuring several films in one book, now we have one book dedicated to one film. The author Matt Zoller Seitz is the same guy that brought us the The Wes Anderson Collection. ![]() Wes Anderson Collection: The Grand Budapest Hotel is a book that lets you explore the world further by going behind the scenes. I just watched it recently and really like the idiosyncrasy and the weird and humourous storytelling. ![]()
